Located close to the city center, Batis Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Kavala. It offers golden sands, clear blue waters, and various facilities such as sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach bars. Batis Beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying water sports.

For those who don't want to move away from the city, Rapsani is the ideal choice for a swim since it is centrally located, right next to the Municipal Park of Faliro. Sand, shallow water, showers and changing rooms – and a tavern just a stone's throw away, in case you want a bite to eat without moving at all!

Ammolofi Beach

West of Peramos, you will find the exotic beaches of Ammolofoi. The fine white sand, in combination with the clear waters, will enchant you! This is the busiest place, especially for the young of Eastern Macedonia, whose weekend parties last late into the night! Of course, if you seek more quiet corners, then you will easily discover them! You can get here by taking the long-distance bus as far as Nea Peramos and from there, walk or take a taxi. During the summer period, the bus continues for Ammolofoi.

Tosca Beach

A beach that makes you feel so close yet so far from the bustle of the center. Tosca has been awarded a Blue Flag for its clean waters and organization. Sand, serene waters, trees running down to the beach, a bar and a restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes. You can get here by taking the long-distance bus to Nea Peramos. There is a 4-star hotel on the site.

The Municipality of Kavala’s beach, with organized services at the west entrance to the town, is a top choice for bathers, particularly the young people of the town. Access is easy by public transport (buses #8 and #4), and the entrance and car park are free for all those who wish to come by car. At the beach, there are changing rooms, showers, sports areas, tavernas, canteens and bars for refreshing breaks.

At the east exit of the town is Perigiali, a semi-organized beach that can easily be reached by public transport (bus #11). At Perigiali you can enjoy the open horizon, as well as green spots, offering you natural shade. Just a few meters further down, you will find fish tavernas next to the waves, where you can relax with ouzo after your swim.

At Palio you will find sandy beaches and more picturesque beaches among the rocks with crystal-clear waters. It is worth taking a stop among the fragrant, blossoming gardens of most of the houses in the area. It has a wonderful coastline with beachside cafes and tavernas to suit all tastes. You can reach Palio by taking the long-distance bus to Nea Peramos.

At Nea Irakleitsa, you will find a picturesque harbor framed by one of the most beautiful little villages in the region. The beach has some organized facilities and a free car park. You can also get here by taking the long-distance bus to Nea Peramos.
